Intelligent airport management platform AeroCloud has today announced an expansion of its leadership team with the appointment of Jeff Gore as vice president of global sales.
Gore joins at a time of rapid growth for the company and will spearhead the sales function to grow revenues through the expansion of AeroCloud’s network of airport customers.
His expertise complements AeroCloud’s position as the only cloud-native ‘software as a service’ (SaaS) management platform in the airport sector. The last 15 years of his 25-year career have focused on scaling SaaS businesses in North America and Europe.
George Richardson, co-founder and CEO of AeroCloud, said: “As we pursue our goal of cementing AeroCloud as the trailblazer in airport management technology, having a passionate and experienced commercial leader in our team is crucial.
“Jeff epitomises this and brings with him also a deep understanding of propelling the sales function in scaling SaaS businesses. He has seen what works and what doesn’t, and he’ll be invaluable in driving forward AeroCloud’s go-to-market strategy and revenues as we enter the next stage of our growth.”
Gore will propel AeroCloud’s go-to-market strategy as it continues to experience rapid growth following its Series A funding round in February.
Based in Boston, he will be responsible for a commercial team of 15 people in North America and Europe, galvanising them in the company’s customer-centric approach to customer acquisition, growth and retention.
He will also support AeroCloud’s business development, customer success and bid teams in meeting the demands of airport customers to power growth in 2024.
The new vice president said: “AeroCloud is a first mover in its industry and its mission and passion make me excited to be part of the team and journey. A company like AeroCloud can be nimble and move fast, which is invaluable to airport customers necessitating scalable digital solutions to solve pain points and futureproof their businesses.
“I am delighted to be joining George and the rest of the team, and look forward to bringing our innovative technology to additional airports across the globe, driving improved operations, commercial outcomes and passenger experiences.”
Gore’s appointment follows the appointment of Uri Guterman as vice president of product in October.
