Baltimore/Washington airport purchase specialised snow vehicle

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall airport has purchased a specialised snow vehicle to offer snow removal during poor winter conditions that may affect flight departures.

The sale of the vehicle was approved recently of the 2017 model of the Prinoth Husky, a snow grooming vehicle that can move, compact and flatten snow.

During winter storms, the airport aim to use the vehicle to ensure safe and timely departures for airlines.
