COBUS HYDRA presents first Hydrogen driven airport bus

At the GSE Expo Europe in Paris Le Bourget, from 13-15 th of September 2022, COBUS Industries GmbH welcomes visitors at its booth EX16.

The pioneering company in apron bus technology will digitally present its brand-new fuel-cell bus COBUS HYDRA, the first Hydrogen driven airport bus.

With its short refilling time and extended range, this fuel cell powered airport bus offers an overall sustainable and state-of-the-art solution.

Sustainability is one of the exhibition’s main focuses, thus it is the perfect platform for COBUS Industries to show one of its latest developments, the COBUS HYDRA.

Fuelled by Hydrogen, the new apron bus is named after the star constellation of the powerful water-snake Hydra derived from Greek mythology.

The digital presentation of the bus will highlight the convincing features: A refilling time of less than 9 minutes and an extended range of up to 400 kilometres.

The newest member of the company’s innovative product portfolio is completely developed inhouse and based on the proven e.COBUS 3000 as well on a Hydrogen driven bus of the COBUS factory and shareholder CaetanoBus.

Customers will also get the possibility to convert their existing fleet into sustainable, Hydrogen-powered buses providing low noise and low emissions.

As fuel cells are an efficient conversion technology and as Hydrogen is a clean energy carrier, the COBUS HYDRA will fully support the European Union’s strategy for transforming its airports to meet environmental challenges to become fully carbon-free.
