The new batteries are designed to meet the rigorous demands of the airside environment, offering a maintenance-free, high-performance alternative to traditional lead-acid systems.
Developed with application-specific lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry and intelligent battery management electronics, the FBP-1000 Series provides a drop-in replacement for existing GSE lead-acid batteries.
This allows for a straightforward upgrade to lithium technology without the need for major infrastructure changes.
The batteries are designed to deliver greater safety, efficiency, and durability.
Key features include a recharge efficiency of 98% or more—significantly reducing power costs and thermal stress—and an extended cycle life that eliminates the need for routine maintenance or weekly equalisation charges.
The versatile battery systems can be adapted to a wide range of industrial electric vehicles, including forklifts, pallet jacks, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and airport GSE such as pushback tractors and baggage loaders.
Green Cubes Technology says the FBP-1000 Series will support improved performance with enhanced runtime and energy efficiency, offering at least 10% better capacity efficiency compared with conventional systems.
