Ground handler struck by plane at Gatwick airport

Emergency services were called to the apron of Gatwick Airport earlier this week as a ground crew member was reportedly hit by a plane.

Police, fire crew and an ambulance were spotted on the apron tending to the incident last Wednesday.

A Rossiya aircraft, which was bound for Russia, was the aircraft involved in the accident.

Officials stated that the employee suffered a serious injury to one of their limbs.

It was said that the plane ran over the foot of the ground handler, a dnata employee.
