TIPS GSE has unveiled its cargo programme for 2026, featuring a reimagined line of ground support equipment.
Its new generation of equipment is built around three main types and four flexible units.
This includes the THRUSTER3025Ce electric tow tractor, redesigned container dollies and freight trailers, and robust and versatile baggage trailers.
The Slovenia-based company has been in operation since 1969, with its GSE delivered to airports worldwide including in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
In its new cargo catalogue, TIPS GSE states that its optimised portfolio reduces complexity and provides high quality at a competitive price.
The updated line comes as the air freight industry continues to experience steady growth; according to IATA, air cargo traffic is projected to grow by 2.6% in 2026 globally, with belly cargo accounting for over half of all volumes.
Efficient and electrified solutions
Covering most airport requirements, the range is designed to meet growing demands for efficient, modular and electrified solutions.
Notably, many of TIPS GSE’s vehicles and trailers are intended for use by a single operator, lowering labour costs while enhancing operational flexibility.
Expanding its offering of electric GSE is a key focus at TIPS GSE, with benefits of its electric range including reduced emissions, noise, and maintenance costs.
80% of the company’s sales are comprised of electric vehicles, compared to 20% diesel.
Other advantages of the equipment include its adaptability to both extreme hot and cold climates, and its advanced battery system.
All units are CE certified, and comply with all relevant EN standards and IATA recommendations.

THRUSTER3025Ce electric tow tractor
The THRUSTER3025Ce’s compact design belies its power. It is capable of towing weights up to 8600kg while maintaining a tight 8.5m turning circle for efficient operation in confined spaces.
In addition, it features an inching function for precise manoeuvring during coupling, allowing slow and controlled movement. Moreover, it has three independent breaking systems.
The unit prioritises efficiency and safety for the operator, including a suspended driver’s seat designed to absorb vibrations, reduce strain, and enhance overall comfort and ergonomics.
It additionally offers a panoramic cabin with large glass sliding windows to improve visibility, alongside optional heating capability.
The tow tractor is fully electric, equipped with an easily-replaceable battery. This ensures quiet operation and decreased maintenance costs.
Cargo dollies and trailers can be connected to the unit via an automatic coupling system, with front hitching available as an optional addition.
The compact rear platform is intended to provide additional space for transporting tools or extra luggage in the cargo bed.
The unit can also be personalised with bespoke RAL colours and branded logos.

CARGO0030C container dolly
The CARGO0030C is a simple, reliable solution for moving standard containers including LD-1, LD-2, LD-3 and LD-3/45.
Capable of handling approximately 90% of all cargo operations at civil airports and payloads of up to 1600kg, its compact design allows it to be easily manoeuvred, even in airports without dedicated cargo infrastructure.
The dolly is one of the smallest in its class, yet it packs a punch with its durable performance even in the most challenging environments.
With weather-resistant, low-maintenance design, its rear semi-automatic Rockinger coupling ensures efficient train formation.
It features 16 rollers mounted on a large ball bearing, improving ease of loading and unloading from all angles.
Moreover, four-wheel steering can be added to enhance manoeuvrability.
A clawed stops system ensures that containers are locked firmly in place, while a hand brake on the first axle can be activated via the raised tow bar, allowing the dolly to be securely held on a 7% incline while fully loaded.

CARGO0125F trailer
The CARGO0125F trailer is designed for 125”x96”, 125”x88” and 108”x88” pallets and LD-7, LD-9 and LD-29 containers.
Versatile and sturdy, with a payload capacity of 6800kg, it is designed for rough operations and heavy loads at freight airports.
Featuring a hot-dip galvanised steel frame, the trailer is optimised for longevity, as well as resistance to corrosion and harsh weather.
It is equipped with 56 rollers for smooth side loading, while a clawed stops system prevents loads from tipping or shifting.
The hand brake on the first axle stops the trailer from rolling, even on a 7% incline.

CARGO2515B baggage trailer
The CARGO2515B is a durable option for keeping heavy baggage safe in all weather environments.
The trailer features a 2500 x 1500mm platform and a payload capacity of 1600kg, designed to increase the efficiency of baggage transportation and reducing the number of trips required.
Its folding side panels and optional foldable or roll-up tarpaulin helps avoid baggage loss, while its V-shaped platform prevents water accumulation in wet conditions.
Rear manual coupling, together with an optional semi-automatic Rockinger system, allows for quick connection of trailers.

CARGO2712B baggage trailer
The CARGO2712B’s compact design makes it a suitable choice for light-to-medium baggage loads.
With a 2700 x 1200mm platform and a 1500kg payload capacity, the trailer is intended to ensure smooth, efficient operations in busy airport environments.
Its five-axle steering allows operators to maintain control and stability at low speeds in tight areas, as well as at high speeds on open surfaces.
The trailer features a hand brake on the first axle to avoid rolling on steep slopes, alongside a V-shaped platform to prevent water accumulation.
