Hoffman Group has announced that its products from the GARANT brand are winners – once again – of the renowned iF Design Award, for its consistent design concept of workshop furnishings.
The GARANT GridLine range includes various workbenches, workshop cabinets and roller cabinets for equipping industry workplaces. In the product design discipline, the GARANT range of workshop equipment and the locking tape measure have both been awarded the coveted quality seal.
According to news sources, the new GARANT GridLine series swing door and sliding door cabinets offer self-closing hinges and the sliding doors are self-locking, available with both sheet steel or with window doors.
The GridLine series also offers a cable management system, a removable raised floor, and inclined shelves with rigid foam inserts that make it easier to organise the cabinet interior while adjustable feet allow for the convenient and quick positioning of the cabinets.
The GARANT locking tape measure, stands out with its simple rectangular shape. Its grip and high-quality materials are noticed as soon as they are used, with its built-in damper that eases the strain on the wrist.
GridLine’s clear structures, consistent design language, top functionality and myriad of potential combinations all contributed to the win. The range follows the three principles of ergonomics, efficiency and emotion, based on standardised external dimensions and a uniform measurement grid.
Its various small parts storage bins, slotted partitions and rigid foam inlays, cabinets and workbenches fit together in the modular system. This ensures attractive workstations and storage solutions with optimised functions.
A jury of 67 global experts selected the award-winner out of 6,375 submissions from 52 countries. The iF Design Award is awarded annually by the world’s oldest independent design institution, the iF International Forum Design GmbH, in Hanover.
