A Jet Airways ground handler went into shock recently after a lightning strike close to Kolkata Airport.
The ground handler – a baggage loader – was sent into shock following the incident although he did not suffer any external injuries, the Times of India reported.
The ground handler was driving a luggage trolley after bags were unloaded from a Jet Airways flight.
A flash of lightning hit the ground close to the employee. He was then thrown from the trolley and lay stunned on the ground.
It is understood that the employee is not in any serious harm.
